Right of Withdrawal

 

(1)    Consumers generally possess a statutory right of withdrawal when concluding a distance contract; any deviations from this right are permissible only if they are to the consumer's benefit. The Seller hereby provides information regarding this right, in accordance with statutory regulations, as follows:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (see contact details below) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, though it is not mandatory.
Alternatively, you may also declare your withdrawal by registering a return via the Majamo GmbH returns portal. Customers can access the Majamo GmbH returns portal at https://hunidesign.com/pages/returns. However, use of the returns portal is not strictly required.

The mere return of the goods is not sufficient.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification regarding the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

The goods should, if possible, be returned in their original packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. If the original packaging is no longer available, please use protective outer packaging to ensure adequate protection against potential transport damage. Damage to or contamination of the returned goods should be avoided. We wish to point out that the right of withdrawal and its consequences apply regardless of whether or not you comply with this recommendation.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if this diminished value results from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exception

Pursuant to Section 312g, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), an exception to the statutory right of withdrawal applies to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs.

Additional Information Regarding Deliveries to and Returns from Countries Outside the European Union (Third Countries)

For deliveries to third countries, shipping costs will not be refunded in the event of a withdrawal, insofar as is legally permissible.

Returns from third countries may be subject to delays due to customs clearance procedures. A refund will be issued only after the returned goods have been received by us.

In all other respects, we refer to our General Terms and Conditions.
